Questions about Orders and Deliveries

CAN YOU TELL ME WHERE MY ORDER IS?

Usually, you should expect your order to arrive within the timeframe of the preferred delivery method you selected. Next day deliveries placed before 3pm should arrive the next working day. If your order was placed after 3pm, then it should arrive in 2 working days.

Standard deliveries can take between 3-5 working days to be delivered (excluding weekend and public holidays).

If after 7 days you have not received your order, please get in contact with us with your name and tracking details so we can investigate the issue for you. You can reach us on hello@nomasana.com

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ORDER?

Please allow 7 working days before contacting us about a missing order/ missing item from your order.

CAN I TRACK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

Yes. When your order has been shipped, you should receive a notification along with a tracking number and a link to track your item.

Please check your spam or junk email folder if you have not received a notification from us.

I WANT TO CHANGE / CANCEL MY ORDER, BUT IT’S ALREADY BEEN PLACED?

Because our warehouse team work quickly to ensure your products arrive on time, it might not be possible to change your order once it has been placed.  However, please get in touch with us and we will investigate the issue for you. If it is not possible to change/ cancel your order, you are welcome to return the item back to us using our returns service. Please note that returns cost £4.99. This amount will be deducted from your refund amount on receipt of your returned item. 

WHAT ABOUT SHIPPING TO PO BOXES OR APO ADDRESSES?

Unfortunately, we are not usually able to deliver to PO Box address or APO address. However, please get in touch with us before you place your order to these addresses to see if we can support your delivery requirements.

DO YOU OFFER SAME DAY DELIVERY?

Unfortunately, we do not currently offer a same day delivery service. However, please get in touch with us before you place your order, and we’ll look into whether we can support your same-day delivery requirements.

Questions about Product

WHAT IF MY PRODUCT ARRIVED FAULTY?

Noma Sana Labs do the very best to build and provide you with products of exceptional quality. We apologise if we have fallen short of our standards. If you have received a faulty product, please send an email to help@nomasana.com, along with your name, order number and photos of the item and faulty part so we can issue you with a replacement.

SOME ITEMS ARE MISSING FROM MY ORDER

If you have opened the package to find that there are some items missing from your order, please get in contact with us (the fastest way is via email: hello@nomasana.com) with photos and tell us what is missing and we’ll come back to you within 48 hours with next steps.

CAN I GET MY HAIR STRAIGHTENER PERSONALISED OR ENGRAVED?

We do not currently engrave individual items. However, please get in touch with us to see if we can accommodate your requirements. Please note that engraved items are exempt from our delivery and returns rules and we cannot accept returns on engraved items.

Questions about Warranty

DO YOU OFFER A WARRANTY ON YOUR PRODUCTS?

Yes. The Silk Tress Hair Straighteners offer a 12-month warranty. The Sleep Beautiful Pillowcases and the Magic Dry hair towel carry a 6-month warranty from the date you ordered to give you peace of mind.

Questions about Returns

I WANT TO RETURN AN ITEM. HOW DO I DO THIS? 

We’re sorry you did not love your Noma Sana product. If you want to return the item, please do so within 30 days of receipt of delivery. Please note that returns cost £4.99 which will be deducted from your refund once we have received your return. You are also welcome to post the item yourself using your preferred carrier. However, we strongly recommend using a tracked and signed carrier as we cannot take responsibility for items that go missing.

If the item is faulty, please reach out to us before returning the item. Once we have received the item, we will assess and reimburse your delivery fee if we deem the item to be faulty.

When returning the Silk Tress Hair Straightener, the Magic Dry Hair Towel and the Sleep Beautiful Pillowcases, unless otherwise faulty, please ensure that it is sent back to us unopened and in its original, saleable condition. 

All returned items must be sent back to us unopened, unused and in their original condition. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if items are non-saleable. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of towels, and pillowcases if they have been opened and unwrapped. Gift Cards are also non-refundable. 

Please keep hold of your proof of postage until you have received your refund. It could take up to 14 working days for us to approve your refund. Please contact us after this time if you still have not received your refund.

I'VE CHANGED MY MIND. CAN I EXCHANGE AN ITEM?

We do not currently offer exchanges. Instead, please return the item and then purchase the preferred item. Please note that returns are subject to a £4.99 fee for postage and packaging.

I PURCHASED THE NOMA SANA SILK TRESS HAIR STRAIGHTENER FROM ANOTHER RETAILER, BUT IT IS FAULTY!

We’re sorry to hear that your hair straightener fell short of our high standards. Please reach out to the retailer you purchased the item from as purchases made from our partners are subject to their returns policy as we do not keep a record of the transaction on our system.

Questions about Noma Sana's Silk Tress Hair Straightener

WHAT HEAT SETTING WOULD YOU RECOMMEND FOR MY HAIR TYPE?

The Silk Tress Hair Straightener reaches a professional heat of 230℃ (446°F). To reduce the risk of hair damage, we recommend using the lowest temperature setting for your hair type:

Type of hair= Recommended temperature

  • Very fine, fragile damaged hair= 120-150
  • Normal, easy to straighten hair= 150-190
  • Normal, difficult to straighten hair= 190-230

IS THERE AN AUTO SWITCH OFF SETTING?

Yes, there is. 

If the appliance is switched on and no button is pressed for about 40 minutes, the display starts to flash. After 45 minutes, the appliance switches itself off automatically and the display turns off. You can switch the appliance on again by pressing and holding the power button for 2-5 seconds.

I DO NOT LIKE TO USE TOO MUCH HEAT ON MY HAIR!

Our straighteners come with adjustable heat and a removable comb so if heat concerns you, use a lower temperature setting with the comb attached to get that desired silky straight look in one glide.

WHAT IS INFRARED TECHNOLOGY? WHY IS IT GOOD FOR HAIR?

Our Silk Tress Hair Straightener features a built-in infrared system. Infrared technology helps to strengthen the hair root, helps to promotes hair growth and helps to repair damaged hair, resulting in healthier hair.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING TITANIUM PLATES?

The Silk Tress Hair Straightener has Titanium plates which are great for thicker hair types. Titanium plates in hair straighteners are salon strength plates that heat up faster and distribute heat on the plates better than commonly used ceramic plates. This leads to a more even, faster straightening experience and this is why salons tend to prefer to use this type of flat iron over ceramic. Our straighteners also come with adjustable heat temperature setting and a removable comb so if heat concerns you, we recommend using a lower temperature setting with the comb attached to get that desired silky straight look in one glide.

WHAT DOES NEGATIVE IONS DO FOR MY HAIR?

The Silk Tress Hair Straightener features 10 million grades anion generator or Negative Ion Technology. Negative Ion in hair straighteners seal the cuticle layer of your hair whilst maintaining the moisture in your hair. This eliminates frizz and makes your hair smoother and silkier for longer.

WHAT IS TYPE 4 HAIR?

Type 4 hair, also known as coily hair, is one of the finest and most delicate hair textures. If you have type 4 hair, understanding its nuances will help shape your hair care routine and make it easier and more effective.

WHAT IS TYPE 3 HAIR?
